Why does he want to buy Canadian? His profile shows Texas.

Still expensive. Even $CDN.

ok, so you can do subtraction :P
now work on cost effectivness, or some other economical mumbo jumbo term
I dont see the justification in 60-90 bucks for 512 MB

and you still have to shell out the 90 +tax at the counter,
unless they're offering instant rebates :P

 Is that gonna be slow for putting songs on it?! :frusty:
My friend ordered a SanDisk ULTRA II 512 card which have a sustained minimum write speed of 9MB/sec.... :ermm:
I think I may have mad a bad purchase :frusty:

I found this on the mpio.com site (the brand of mp3 player I have)

Performance
The FL100's sound quality was quite good in our tests, with a respectable 85dB signal-to-noise ratio. Even with the less than impressive included earbud headphones, the music maintained a clean sound. With a decent set of headphones, the FL100's ample bass response--the Achilles' heel of many portable players--was also notable.

Despite manufacturer claims of 11 hours of battery life, our alkaline AAA petered out after about 8 hours. File-transfer speed was a somewhat poky 0.46MB per second, so filling 128MB takes about four and a half minutes.

And thats on the internal memory  To me it doesent seem that slow :ermm:

If its 1.5mb/sec then about 2-4 seconds per song.

@VB1234 he's not in Texas, thats just the name of one of the albums from the band he's named after.

Also i must admit you paid alot more that you should have and by the sounds of it didnt even geta very good one.

Peerzy, you say its about 2-4 seconds per song but it isnt. Its about 2-3 mins per song or more. Im gonna take it back and order a Sandisk Ultra II 512 card from ncix.ca It took 25 mins to put 16 songs on this card, pathetic isnt it?

Does any have any idea for why its so slow? Maybe I need to use a card reader?
