Okay, I'm completely sick to death of the NFSU games. :sleep1:
TBH, I was never really that impressed by either version - the original and the sequel both sucked in thier own ways.
So... I'm looking for quality racing games for PC.

Street, Drag, Rally, F1, Motorbikes - whatever you got, I'll try it.

TIA speed fans :D

I'm a big WRC fan, I've been playing Colin McRae Rally 2005. It's a great game, physics are very good.

if you can be arsed to dig up a DOS game, Stunt Car Racer, it's graphics and physics are still better than most modern games :exaggeration:

if you really want to play it you might want to dig up an Amiga emulator since the graphics are much better than the PC version

Toca 2
Richard Burns Rally
Nascar Sim Racing

All have 8.5+ on most gaming websites. Or if you want NFSU Pwnage wait for Midnight Club 3 on the pc, as that is truly one of the best speed racing games out, along with Burnout 3.

Midnight Club 3 > Burnout 3 > Toenail Clippings > NFSU

so wait burn out is expected to come to pc and burnout 3 ??? if so , when ? I thought it would only be exclusive to the console systems..

BTW Toca Race car driver has never been properly cracked yet, because it uses star force 3 protection.

No Burnout 3 is not coming to PC, im just saying it set the standard when it was released on console as a fucking great racing game & Midnight Club 3 in my opinion has bettered Burnout 3 and is coming to PC.

Also he never said he would be downloading these games and Toca 2 is only about £15 now.

Well it's most likely that I will be using the download option, but if I see something good in the bargain bin at the local game shop, then I'll snag it. :)

Midnight Club 3 > Burnout 3 > Toenail Clippings > NFSU:lol: Yup... spot on with the toenail clippings.
Midnight club 2 is on eD2K now... was that any good? The reviews I've found seem to be a bit luke warm about it...

Barky - Live for Speed looks pretty damn sweet. I'll keep that one in mind for when I'm making a bit more cash and have a better net connection.

Good stuff so far... I might even try out that Stunt Car Racer. I've got an Amiga emulator in my archive and I love my retrogaming, so cheers for that, DI.

Midnight Club 2 was good, but nothing on number 3, just wait till number 3 is released on pc.

Yeah, I'll do that. Besides, MC2 will probably be in the bargain bin Any Day Now™.
Cheers.

Another vote for Midnight Club 2 here. I'm not a fan of childish/consoley type racing games but MC2 is a hum-dinger. The way the game lets you take any route you want around the cities as long as you hit the checkpoints is superb. I'm looking forward to Midnight Club 3 :)
