Could somebody tell me wich mp3 codecs are the best for listening?

LAME 3.90.3 with the --alt-preset standard switch is considered optimal among most audio enthusiasts for creating MP3s with the smallest file size that are indiscernible from the original CD.

The best decoding mp3 players are foobar2000 and Apollo - I think they are the best to listen mp3s.
