form the pics it looks a hell of a lot like kazaa.
I will never again be able to trust a network that has a search feature.

i first used like 5 years ago. . .
small community, lousy search, lousy resume, and only "secure" if you install a bouncer.
but it has one of the best chat's of all the p2p's i've used, and good downloads, if you know somebody

form the pics it looks a hell of a lot like kazaa.
I will never again be able to trust a network that has a search feature.
you can configure to only share in the rooms youre in, and what to share in each room, and even who has access. big learning curve though figuring out how to configure all the options. not for the "kazaa crowd"

Ive used it and enjoyed the crowd which if you like SoulSeek you may enjoy it although it is a very small network...

My advice is to stay the hell away from this program. It's buggy as hell, and uses massive amounts of memory, mostly while scanning your files. And by massive, I mean, like 150-200MB. If you're lucky.

While scanning your files, the program seems to freeze. Users have told me that I should expect this behavior, and deal with it. I find a program that freezes for 45min while scanning 40,000 files unacceptable. It's also a very confusing program. (Lists? What the heck?)

Use Ares, BitTorrent, IRC, and newsgroups.
