o.k., i've made my virtual C.D. but how do i now get it to work? my comp won't open it because it's an .mdf file, can someone please help me?

Make a virtual drive from the options, then right click the .mdf and mount it to the virtual drive. It will then be in My Computer.

if i'm not wrong, u need both mds and mdf in order to make that virtual image to work properly. u should try mounting the mds instead

do you have autorun disalbled in alcohol?
in that case, you may have to, like RTJ said,
go into my computer, see if its there and just double-click it
