I didnt know wether to post in in gamesworld or hardwareworls so i posted it here.When i play gta 3 it gos very slow(have 32 meg video card) If i get a new card(64 meg) will the game still go as slow as it does now?

and it works fine....

Well, it should almost, if not certainly run faster with a 64 meg card.

He's asking will it be as slow IF he gets a 64mb card and the best answer is NO. I had 32mb PCI and GTA3 ran real slow and jerky so I got a geforce 4 mx420 and it works perfect. So get a 64mb and your'll be laughing. :)

btw, mx420 is the worst geforce 4 card so don't worry about which card but the ti's are the best.

i did the searching, took me 2seconds so here

that website wouldnt let me access the download page and when i install that highfps mod and click get rid of newspaper or whatever it said it says cannot read from disk and crap like that.

it shouldnt even b looking 4 the disk, and if u have any problems theres a button 2 hit that says "having problems?" and wen u click that, it will replace 2 files u need so it can edit them and next time u play it will say converting textures and ull b good 2 go. and if it still doesnt wrk its not cuz u have the ripped verions
and otrher then that mod theres no way 2 change ur game 2 run better w/o a better processor or graphics card or ram

32 meg / 64 meg megs don't mean shit thats just inbuild memory (for examaple a 32 meg tnt takes a geforce mx lite 64 meg up the ass) you have to cheak out benchmarks ti's are so much better than geforce goo also it may not be your grapichs card thats the problem it may be your processor in that case your fucked or it may be ram once again if your upgrading don't go for the higher number 256 of ddr ram is better than 512 sd ram and cheak the Hz anyway gta3 doesn't need much to run smooth compared to bf1942 or raven shield.

I have a AMD athlon xp 1800
It is just the game goes a little slow and my buddy has the same procceser but a better vid card and gta 3 works perfect

just to give you a bit of relief, I too have an 1800+, here's my story:

before: had 32mb pci - jerked and was slow

after: got geforce 4 - works fine :)

The version of kazaa runs in slow motion with everyone I know, I&#39;m using a version I bought myself. The one of kazaa never orked for me either.

you need at least gforce3 to play it. i recomend Gforce4 4600 to play it or ati 9000 pro or higher. anything less then a gforce 3 and the game will run very slow for a while.
