What about closing it down in windows task manager.??

open messanger in prefs or options
clik "dont load with windows startup / in background thingy"

ok i closed it with taskmanager.I neverrestart so that should be the end of that then.

Outlook sucks bawls anyway. I like webmail but if I do use a mail client I use Thunderbird :snooty:

If you`ve got windows XP turn them off in display properties. Right click on your desk top and click properties and you`ll find it in there.

Or, if you have Tweak UI, there is a much easier fix.

Mankers right and i`m wrong, i seem to remember using tweak ui. What`s funny is that you don`t notice them until someone tells you about them or points them out to you, then you just have to get rid of them. :lol:

then
file
new task
type in - explorer.exe
this will refresh your registry
