You probably have a virus.

no...its a Yahoo one. I changed my password last nite to prevent any more of this. but when i tried to sign on this morning, my password was changed again. its really freaking me out. the email said...."Yu thought yu could outwit me....I am the Overlord.....I rule all!!!!"
So if that doesnt worry me....i dont know what will.

Both Hotmail and Yahell are the easiest to hack.
Maybe try your ISP email instead ? The above two
are notorious for hacking.

It's possable to trace the IP adress , how did you receive those 2 mails ? on hotmail , ISP mail , etc.....

you have not been hacked.

somebody is spoofing the e-mail addy.

I have a few programs that do it and you can use telnet to do it as well.

open it in outlook express click options and then message source.

This is the e-mail header and will tell you which ip addy it originated from.

but....does "spoofing" include changing my email password?

Check what your password reminder question is - change that too. You would be amazed how many people put something obvious in there that everyone they know would know, like your pets name! Change it to something that only you would know if thats the case.

It's easy to trace his IP....where did he mailed you ? ISP mail , hotmail...???
