I guess this isn't really that much of a filesharing question, but it's closer than anything else.

I have some video clips from my video camera that I want to have available to download from my website. However, I can't upload them to my website, because my host doesn't allow me to upload files that are fairly big or that are movies...

I was going to use Photobucket, but that has a limit of 250 kb, which is nothing really.

My question is, is there something like Photobucket, but allowing larger files where I can upload my files to so anyone can download them? Thanks a lot.

I was just sniffing around in the forums. I was totally unaware that these things exist. I have an ftp server running, but this is much easier for occasional file transfer!

They did leave one out. Probably one of the better sites for sending large files. Free, secure and unlimited usage!

As per me the best option would be this online storage (http://www.ibackup.com) service.

It has the ability to handle gigs of data. If you face a temporary internet disconnection then their products have features to resume the transfer progress from where it stopped.

They don’t have any upload/ download restrictions over bandwidth.

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but what has happened to newnova? It's been off line for days now. Has the same thing happen to newnova has it once did to suprnova? I don't know, but I love those two sites. One site inspired me to buy a computer, the other was why I bought it.
