I have found tons of corrupted mp3's maybe because I haven't update to the new version

I'm using version 4.8.1 Pro, downloaded around 800 songs or so, and not a single fake song.

You get a higher corruption rate if you're using Wireless internet. Or at least I do, I probably shouldn't speak for the rest of the world.

The computer that's hardwired to the router doesn't get as much corruption.

i've had maybe 5 fakes ever using limewire and they're usually on high-requested singles only. i do however get lots of movies where it needs to 'acquire a license.' :pinch:

I prefer Soulseek.. It's a pretty damn good P2P program. Especially if you're into music that's ripped from vinyls aka rare songs ;)

i was tryin to DL some MP3s all was corrupted
i blamed the but router
but at the end it was just LimeWire needing an update

I just got back into Limewire after getting rid of it when Morpheus and Grokster went downhill years ago. I'm pretty surprised by the rarity of tracks I'm seeing, and also the formats/bitrates. WinMX and Soulseek have had pretty slim pickings for me the last few months, so this is like a breath of fresh air.

I'm think going to be using this a bit for the forseeable future. :)

The reason that Soulseek hasn't been too good lately is that because of the server problems people aren't even trying to log on that often anymore.

I also used to use LIMEWIRE, but downloads more often get corrupted indeed

I even prefer Bearshare but has adware

Edonkey has great results, many result because of popularity, lots of users, but quite slow I think

Bittorrents rule, I use bittornado, it's simple but works fine, doesn't fuck up your CPu

Quite a few of us banned you, that couldn't have helped much.
