Im not sure, if you had one of the biggest games of the year on your pc would you:

1) Take some nice close up high res pictures
2) Stand far away, blur the picture by moving the camera and have it on a tilt.

Also the number's for the res look smaller than they should be and theres no proof its not just a tv tuner card and the ps2 version.

Also the format for the resolution is "1024 x 768" in GTA3 and VC the format would be like "1024 x 768 x 16"

Nothing in the requirements that says otherwise, your card has DX9 compatible drivers, its just when it says Geforce 4 or bettter (not including MX*) that you should start worrying.

see what i would of done is recorded me playing the game onto a miniDV camera with some Av cords then importing it to my computer then play it fullscreen and taking a few pics but....he probbly photoshopped that video settings page, you tell me, i havn't got the game, still wait for PC, i will buy it if it has online abilities otherwise i will download it.

Thats Vice City, its been there for yonks, maybe 6-8 months, remember PS2 version of GTA was near 4GB, and they've added nicer shaders and a few new things so if anything it's gone up in size.

ya, u can't imitate the resolutino setting, unless you're like the god of photoshop it's not gonna happen (especially since the pics are believed to be taken w/ a camera and not the "print screen" button.

This is true. There's been a few fakes floating around and we'll probably get a non-scene release pop-up before (like we did with Half Life 2 and Doom 3). I'd avoid these and wait for a scene release to avoid the heartache of downloading 4.19gb and then getting a Barbie DVD game or a game you can't play because there is no crack...

Whats a scene release?
scene = "the piracy community," which most of us have pretty much zero contact with because it's all very secret and difficult to join. it's where most pirated stuff on the 'net originates, then the stuff makes its way onto fileshare networks and trickles down to the average user. these are the people that copyright owners & gov'ts are really looking to bust, not some average guy downloading mp3s on kazaa/bittorrent. groups within "the scene" score points by being the first to release an item (program/movie/album/game, etc) in good working condition and the proper file format. the points are used to buy download priveleges on private servers, access to the very latest stuff. if a group's release fails to meet any of the scene's requirements, then that group gets no points and the points are still up for grabs until a group releases a "proper" version of it.

one of the requirements for scene releases is archive format (zip, rar, etc). typically for cd/dvd sized releases, the scene requires it to be formatted as a set of 15mb, 20mb or 50mb rar files with the ISO file (or whatever kind of file it is) inside of 'um.

i went back and played this on ps2, i was laughing everytime ihit someone, finally made it to a 6star wanted level, took less than 3 mins, go to the police department, run inside, grab the shotty, instant 2 star, run riot killing cops that come for you, and bam, you'll be at 6 stars in no time. it's hella fun. the only reason i got on was to fly the jet, which is still slow as hell and sucks to fly :( i hear the xbox version is cleaned up so nice, the scenerary is much crisper, man i want this game....again.

I didn't scan it. I found that on another Filesharing forum, might be fake might not. Take 2 is suppose to have a contract with Macrovision (Te makers or Secrerom) However there's been a few scans on different forums and all point to Starforce.

Yeah people who don't have leech slots, pre fakes upload other files into the dir and get the creds. Most people get 0Gb credz per month and have to worth for there credz, which is why so many fakes are pre'd. Thats why credz are a good and bad idea. Bad because of all the fakes, good because it keeps the scene racing and as fast as ever.

Carbon copy is a fake, there is no scene release of it yet, not even a non scene release.

Copy protection is Securom 7 which can be cloned easly with A120% or Blindwrite, problem is that like Vice City PC version Take 2 have added in custom protection that does random cd checks at totally random, because crackers cannot see when it will ask the to cd check its very hard to remove, however nothing like Starforce (SC-CT) type protection.

I got it...I bought it...sucks that I'm at work for another 2 1/2 hours :( I want to play so bad. Wont play on this system...the Intel Extreme Graphics card on this system is too extreme for this game :)
