Question for UK people really, have any of you done the A+ Technicians course? Was it hard or fairly easy? Did it lead you on to anything good ect?

From what I'm being told it's one of the top Quals to have, I was just wandering if it's really worth the £400+?

I'm asking this in Hardware World because technically it is hardware related – so please don't move this to the Lounge

Yeah I think that's the same thing, though I couldn't get it for free unless a job pays to train me. What other quals did you have before the Hospital Engineer job? Did you need a lot of books for the A+, if any?

GNVQ IT (intermediate)
C&G Diploma 7262 in computer networking

About books and A+
the class is learning from a site on the college intra-net all done in divided up modules
after reading from that we get sheets of questions to see if we have caught on
no home work (so far)

added: the guys at the A+ training centre got me this job too
