No dude guys they were working on something new for the site.
c+++ Stuff. And changining the look. Well in the IRC chat of Torrentbytes they say just some minor repairs. :)

It scared me for a sec. Thats what happened to Elitetorrents before it got shut down.
*sight* tb isnt that great.. they just have plenty of junk there.. it will never be as good as the original

Even though the IRC channel (#tb2 on irc.freequest.net) says that the server crashed and they're working on it (while stating that it doesn't have anything to do with the FBI or MPAA), I'm still concerned with this.
I think I should just delete my account, even though I'm just a user... I'm sick of worrying about this crap but at the same time, the site is great.
ok, just the server crashed - so the site will be back soon ;)

hey i think something wrongs going on and it more then a server crash, if u check Pisexy they have enabled BlackListed ports again which is used to avoid Goverment server from getting in.

Thanks, that sounds better than causing a panic. Everything I hear says the site will be back up ;)
Still nothing changes in te situation, hope it will come as soon as possible :(

yeah, seems like they've gone too. we may see some kind of paid mp3 site with full of spyware, in next few days under the domain of TorrnetBytes.net :) they probably sell the domain like the old one (www.torrentbits.org)

I think it came back online temporarily for an hour just recently so it points to maintainance issues rather than a permanent closure. I'm chilling while downloading (really slowly) off torrentspy.

torretbytes seems to be a realy good one. I finally get to fill the form to sign in after many many tries, but by the time I hit the sign in button it was too late. If I was able to see the form, I should be able to sign in...oh well.

it looks like you're ip address has been banned, the error you're seeing is kind of a nice way to put it
it's always down, i don't know when it will be online again, maybe never.
