When you consider the exchange rate it's not an excuse. It's about $52 USD.

That's expensive. I have a NEC DVD Burner that only cost me like 30 bucks off of newegg. It can only burn DVDs at 8x, but I'm not in that much of a hurry.

I'm going to break down and buy one this weekend . I don't know other than ghosting my drive or making backups of my software ? I don't d/l movies but mabye I should . I'm alowed 50 gb upload & d/l with this new ISP I'm on now. :naughty:

Just a thought , I have a fairly new cd -rw and a dvd r in two of my three bays right now. Should I just install the new dvd -rw in the M.T. one or dump the cdrw and keep for a a spare ?

You can also use the DVD burner for copying rented DVDs.

The easiest is to remove the other optical drives and just have the DVD burner. It can do every task.

I think he's saying that it's faster to have two because you can put in the CD you want to copy and a blank CD and copy it that way faster.

Yep , I don't want to save to the harddrive first ,just disk to disk. But not that much longer I guess , Mabye save a little wear and tear ? But I guess at those prices who cares ! Hey I'm Scottish what can I say. :shifty:
