Extensions killing FireFox

i just deleted my FF Profile and all extensions were gone, i just noticed huge diffrence in loading Firefox or opening new window. i just installed 2 of my extensions again... OpenInIE and BBCode.

it loadssssssssssss way faster, when i had more extension installed minimum it took like 5sec to load but now it take less then 1 sec

Will loads of extension make it use more ram. I have only a few extension and only have this window open and it`s using 40,808k. is this normal.??

Some extensions are really badly coded and thus slow firefox down alot. Such as Tabbrowser Extensions, but you didn't say you had that one.
