having problem with limewire

i have a problem with limewire. every time i left limewire on so long after closing i cant use the internet at all. i have to log off the computer and log on again otherwise the internet wont work. does anyone know how to fix this?

LimeWire is probably hogging all your bandwidth. How many downloads are usually going when this happens?

i usually download a lot of things, but about ten downloads or less are going when this happens

Try turning the ultrapeer setting off in the options.
