Search for user

Is there any way to search for a user on winmx. My comp crashed in the middle of talking to someone, and now that I've got back online, they've disappeared from my hotlist. I've tried searching for one of the files they had, but they are not coming up in the search. I only know the first part of their usename.

I really don't think there is, but I haven't used it for so long, things may be different now. Sorry can't be more help. :unsure:

Found them again in the end. Just kept searching for the file I knew they had.
