View Full Version : What did you have for dinner?
I just had tomato & mozarella chicken kievs, mixed leaf salad, some new potatoes with butter, a touch of coleslaw and a little potoato salad.
I am even treating you to a photo of my veritable feast too :P

I had Chicken, prepared by cooking a Chicken. Then removing bits from the carcass. The breastal area for me.
I accompanied that with some Warburton's wholemeal bread, with the (olive oil) spread which used to be called Olivio.

I have never tried bacon and onion as an omelette filling.
I think I would be forced to add some cheese to that.
Just for form.
Did you fry the onions first, or just cut / dice them.
It does sound quite nice but I too would have to add cheese.
I think I just got what you meant about the nitrogen JP, none of it was frozen, t'was all fresh

When you buy pre-packaged food e.g. a bag of salad, crisps or whatever, the bag is (generally) filled with Nitrogen.
People often think it is filled with air, but that would just be mental.

(concerning the omelette) my mum made it, i'm too lazy to make my own food. the onions were just diced and chucked in
the omelette was overall very salty, but i expect that from my mum.
it was a filling meal, better than my patented student diet of crap from a can

It sounds both filling and eclectic, ideal tax dodging grits one would have thought.
If you have the nerve say to your Mam
"Mater, I find your culinary delights a tad on the briny side. Would you consider leaving the old sodium chloride out and the diners can add it to suit their individual taste. I think this modified approach would hold universal appeal".
I'm sure she will react positively.
