View Full Version : How to mount a belt on a weed eater engine?

Next week i plan on starting to make my gas powered scooter. Ive got tis shitty electric one, and ive got a gas weed eater.

The electric scooter has a belt drive, so i figure it will be easier to make it belt powered one.

My question is does anyone have and ideas how to get the belt around the weed eater axel? Im going to have to buy a new longer belt, but how am i going to get it to spin around the weed eaters axel?I need an idea. thanks :)

take the axel used by the electric motor and put it onto the weedeater axel. :ermm:

Its not powerfull enuff for a go cart, and right now i dont have the ambition to plan one, plus i dont have the tools to do that at home, only at school.I scooter is just a test, after that i will c what i can do.
