ok, I've just downloaded 3 xp's:

Windows_XP_pro_corporate_final - 492mb
Win XP Pro.iso - 488mb
Win XP professional - 438

The sizes are taken from my shared folders.

All are zipped and when unzipped there's no errors and all have the same installation screen, so I'd like to ask:

1. Which of these are working as every one I've downloaded before had an error during installation - .sys not found etc

2. The xp corp has the same installation screen as the others so how do I check if it really is corporate?

3. Is there a program to check if all files are working i.e will tell me if a file is missing?

To make sure its a fully working xp?

....corporate only accepts corporate keys...so try a corporate key in each....

2.
Is there a program to check if all files are working i.e will tell me if a file is missing?

Thanks thats the one I've got but I said the size in MB. :)
Ok, I'll try to install it tonight, wish me luck.

I'm nervous though as last time I tried to install xp it had an error during installation and I had to format, I'm sure it was this one. But maybe the last was corrupted.

Is there a program I can use to check if all files are there and working before trying to install, a sort of tester?

Can anyone say if the others work as well, as i am looking for the pro or home releases if possible, id rather not get caught up in the corp one

if you download the home or pro use the crack and keygen i posted in the verifieds.....windows xp home+pro keygen.....it contains a hack to stop the countdown and also it generates unique keys that can be used.....(this is also good for corporate users as you have to change your key..(pirated owners)...when you install the service pack....)

@RGX: Windows sees no difference between Corporate Professional and Professional. Professional is for home/small business use, and Corporate can be installed unlimited amount of times, but normal Professional can only be registered twice? with same cdkey. That's why it's harder to find corporate, because it can only really be leaked from people who got it from their company/people who dled from those people and shared.

i got the 504 meg one but it was missing 2 files   so what i did was i copyed those two files from my w2k sisk and put them in the ISO and burned it problem solved so if ur geting the 594 meg ones be weary of that!! dont bother updating to SP1 as SP2 will be released soon :)

Hey man i have dled all of them and installed all of them and the only one that works is win xp pro 438 mb and this one wont copy the movie maker.exe
no biggy!
I solved the movie maker file prolem by useing the corporate versions(which had various inst.problems)moviemaker file during installation.
"error unable to copy movie.exe or whatever" when asked i just directed it to copy the file from the unpacked corp. version.
So I really used 2 xp pro versions to make it completely work.
both of them ran from my second hard drive. ;)
It's a hassle but I guarantee this method or a 2 cd type method will work!! :)

There is a program that checks cd images for errors and can even fix them if there not too severe.

CDMage do a search for it.
