Hello Mates
I am trying to find a way (or a program) that will automaticly download bittorent files that are a part of a RSS feed.

I was told that azureus had an RSS plug in that would do just that. However try as I may have have not been able to get either of the two to actaully download anything automaticly.

For now, what I am trying to do is automaticly download the podcast torrents from This Week in Tech. http://feeds.feedburner.com/twit-hib

Are there other simple ways to do this? Other programs that work with bittorent files?

if they're podcasts you can use iPodder (http://ipodder.sourceforge.net/index.php) , or most any podcatcher will do it

Thats is what I thought... but all podcasting software I have come across is designed for downloading audio files (mp3, wma) not torrents that result in audio files.

iPodder supports BT enclosures, as well as HTTP

You are right!

However when I tested it out, all the feeds that had MP3 rss feeds downloaded with out a problem, and all the mp3 torrent files just said they were downloading but never actually did anything and got past the 0.0% complete

thats odd i never had trouble with BT enclosures, only mp3's hanging
do they have seeders? do the torrents work in a regual BT client?

here is another podcatcher that supports bt (i never tried it)
