To Buy From Newegg or Stores?

My uncle keeps tellin theres all kinds of stores at this place in florida. He wants me to get the comp stuff from there instead of newegg. Comments? I think getting it from newegg is an alot better idea.

If you buy online, the prices are usually cheaper. If you buy from a store, taking it back will be much easier if something goes wrong.

it's all to do with the $$. if newegg is considerably cheaper, and it usually is, than stores, go with newegg. especially for things that dont' usually die.

u should still follow store ads. especially ads during black friday or boxing day weekends. the rebates and the cheap shit. whooo

EDIT: Hows tigerdirect in the states? They have it fuckin 14$ shipping so its and plenty of tax :( like 13$'s worth. so its like 267 or somewhere around that final. Buying that in a store would rip me a new asshole. Common newegg!!!!

If you don't live in Florida it'll still be a hassle taking it back, and since it's cheaper online, I'd go with newegg, or some other online store, it's not the only good place, you know.

Tigerdirect sounds as if it's out, though.

zipzoomfly.com is another competitor of newegg. i wouldnt recommend using tigerdirect because their prices are way higher. Ie i saw a gfx card at newegg for 130$ and at tigerdirect it was 170$ (the card was a 9600xt)....

The Gigabyte Ultra 939 is the sweet spot for features per dollar and the DFI LanParty ( either SLI or not) seems to be the unquestioned leader in overclocking (both Mushkin and OCZ make RAM that is specially designed for the DFI alone as no other board will provide the voltages necessary).

It seems to me that if you are going to name your board after the #1 game player in the world, it ought to be the best gamer's board around...and the Abit ain't.
