I have some music videos on a dvd i have made and i want to get these videos onto my pc. Does anyone know what software i could use to do this?

Do you have a DVD Burner..??
Than you can just use Elby's CloneDVD2 or Nero to rip them...
If you don't..I guess you could just copy & paste the VOB Files (VIDEO_TS Folder).

not possible with Shrink if the files are mpeg

Ive used DVDdecryptor and its got all of the video_ts files and put them onto my pc but how do i get them into an avi?

Im assuming the files on the DVD are actually DVD format.

If you wanna convert them to AVI, then I suggest Dr.DivX. Really nice DVD ripper. :)
