I've just dloaded the battlefield 2 demo after preordering the full version, the games refuses to start just goes to black screen then back to desktop, my card a nvidia ti4200 is not in the supported card list but would the screen just go blank like this or would the game auto turn the appearance settings down to allow play?
BTW just found my card does'nt support 1.4 shaders which the game needs is the cause lost?

I thought you needed an All-in-Wonder graphics card to run that version

Edit:

Original info:

Minimum Requirements:(subject to change):
Windows XP
P4 1.2 GHz or equivalent
512MB RAM
64MB DirectX 9 video card

Updated info from EA Games:

The minimum spec is a Pentium 4 1.7GHz or equivalent, 512MB RAM and a 128MB video card.

P4 2.5GHz or equivalent, 1GB RAM and a 256MB video card the recommended spec.

Windows XP is required to play Battlefield 2 as is a DirectX 9.0b compatible sound card.

Note, you need DirectX 9 video card, the ti4200 is only DX8.
