I have got a video on my pc and its over a gig. I copied it from a dvd so its big in screen size and good quality. How can i make it so its less in size?

Divx, and Xvid are the most popular compression schemes.

tried that. the quality after uncompressing isnt the same as the source file :(


like harrycary posted try Divx. you most likely have an uncompressed avi.
