Extracting avi from its sound track

i've got an avi file with sound and would like it without the sound, what's the quickest, smallest prog to do this with? :unsure:

Virtualdub - under the audio menu choose no audio, and under video choose direct stream copy, then save the avi

You can use Adobe ImageReady too. To make it as GIF of course.
