It's frustrating. Most times I have had people connect and dload no problem. Now and then, I come home and see IMs like.."share fukker"..etc. So kind of sucks because you ARE sharing and Sseek just doesn't always connect w/ everyone the same way.

i get similar messages using shareaza sometimes, mainly from idiots too impatient to wait through the upload queue, or they get moved further back in the queue by shareaza for trying to connect too often :lol:

if it comes up "error getting filelist" then sort out your ports, so you are connectable - else people cant dl from you, and you may as well be leeching

yeah me too..I told a guy to fuck off once and he got aplogetic and ended up giving me a bunch of albums because he felt badly....i tried to return the favor, but I couldnt..and I had Port fwding and all that stuff set...my torrent clients fly and i always have strong connections..so i think its just a soulseek thing.

my far superior connection to yours is in ottawa atm and am stuck up at me folks for the summer cos i couldnt find a job in ottawa and i gotted one up here instead... in teh middle of fecking nowhere... with nothing to do and shitty net... it sux... tho it means am mebbe gonna be using fst again for a lil while atleast :p
