Ok. 4 gig ISO, needs to become....6-7 parts to fit onto a CD. After the burning of the 6-7 parts onto their respectable CDs, there has to be a way to combining them again, and making it 1 ISO all over. Is there a way to split files

In this page (http://www.ub.es/biocel/wbc/utilidad/hacha.htm) there's a program called hacha.exe (http://www.ub.es/biocel/wbc/utilidad/hacha.zip) that lets you split a file in the sizes you want to. You can move it, store it, etc, and when you want the file whole again, you use the same program to join the parts.

thanks bud. :D

You're welcome :)
I use this program to divide movies that are too large to fit into a CDR (like 1.2 GB) split the movie, burn the parts to disc, and when I want to see the original, just join them using the program.

No, the GUI is in Spanish only, but there are only two commands:

Cortar = split

Pegar = Join,

There's the small window where you enter the size of the pieces in MB.

You set the size, click on "Cortar," browse to where the file is, then "Metele Hacha"= split and you get the pieces.

When you want to join the pieces, go to Pegar= Join, browse to the files you generated (these have numbers, not extensions, like example.0, example.1, example.2 and so on) go to example.0 and click on "Abrir" Open.

Describing it is more complex than actually doing it, you have cortar= split and pegar=Join. The programs creates the pieces, when you want to join them, use pegar=join.

You might practice on some files you have, so you get the hang of it.

You can associate the file with ISO buster, extract the files to your desktop or something to a folder called "CD1" or something. Then Split up the files into sections that would fit onto a cd. But then you might run into a problem with the CAB files, as they might be too large to fit onto a cd. But chances are, this is not the case, so just split the files into parts that fit onto a cd. Like take the first section of 600MB info, burn it to a cd. Then take the second section, burn it. And so on.. And then when you are installing, it might say something to the extent of "Where the hell is this file?" Then you just insert the CD with the file on it, and it will install from there, and so on. At least that is what I do.

that was the original problem. Some of the Cab files were like a gig in size, and too big for a CD. Thats why splitting the fiels makes it easier. Just use Axe from now on, not only for Deodorant. :naughty:
