I have a 6800GT 128mb and I run everything full with the 10x timecyc file, no lag but sometimes the textures will blink because of the edited timecyc file.

BTW If you want to use cheats on the PC version without having it count towards your stat I suggest using the +27 trainer from Pizzadox

Only use a 4X timecyc file and its fine.

On another note for when your fighting the Ballas for ground go and start a gang war then get out an AK47, usually 2 groups come at you but usually from the same directioon so run as far as you can from them down the street. They will then stand in a line and run at you. Lucky for you your AK can shoot much further than they can see so as there running todards you just shoot, as one dies you hit the next one in the line behind him.

When there all dead run and colllect there ammo and wait at that end of the road and repeat.

For the Paramedic Missions do them in Pine Creek (The place you start when Tenpenny arrest you after that guy shows you what Ryder & Smoke have been up to)

Theres a medical center to the north of the town and none of the people are more than 10 seconds away and you get 2 minutes plus.

Did it like 10 minutes ago, only took 15 minutes.

As you can c the best thing to do is ramp vehichles off fuckin MOUNTAINS!!

When using FRAPS and recording you lose about 15-20 FPS because its recoding in real time and using up loads of CPU.

That was excellent Peerzy. As Ready1 said the framerate you were getting was great, even with Fraps running. I uninstalled the game after 2 missions as the framerate was so poor (and I hated the controls) and that's with a Athlon 64 2.25GHz, Radeon X800XT & 1 gig of low latency memory.

I'll wait a couple of months for a complete hardware overhall and hopefully a patch before trying it again. It looked top notch on your PC though.

My pc isn't much better than yours, infact i have a worse graphics card and i suspect my ram is slower than yours. The reason i get such good FPS is my Intel CPU has HT technologie which makes the computer think it has 2 CPU's so it uses a full 50% of my one CPU on FRAPS and the other 50% on GTA, insted of Fraps using 75%-95% and bogging down GTA.

The missions for Zero don't advance the story any so you don't have to do them.

As for learning to fly the plane, quite a few of the missions need you to be able to fly, so you should really try to pass these. Just keep practicing. :D

its so annoying cos the buttons X and Z are used for up and down (nose of the plane) and Q and E, at the other end of the keyboard, for left and right, so its realy uncomfortable to do this, also because i need to keep my eye on the screen and cant keep my eyes on the keyboard.... :(

hey, i got a problem with gta, i get it working first time i logg into windows, well most of the time it works the first time, but then when i quit it just loads a black screen then nothing, also, sometimes it makes the computer restart, but i think that may just be my usual hardware problems but anyway i am building a new computer soon so i dont need ot worry about it restarting, i just need to get it to load

when i play it, it plays great, i can play gta san ace, on high settings, maximum draw or whatever it is, fram limiter off, but no anti antliasing, but i am going to get a x800xt graphics card.

so any ideas why it could be restarting like this, becouse the download could not have bieng alterd and corrups becouse as i said it plays perfectly when i can get on it, also when it does not work sometimes, it lowers my dislay setting to extreamly low eg, 4bit display and 600x400 reseloution, also sometimes when it starts it just comes on and you can only see quarter of the whole screen becouse of the such high reseloution.

this is tottaly baffling me, took me almost 70 hours to get this download :(

yes i did have a slow download of gta san andreas, avarage speed was 14.4kbps, but speeds ranged from 4kbps all the way up to 110kbps

Videos good, about 3minutes so far, im gonna keep it under 5 or 6. I tried WMM, found it shit, it took me about 24 hours to edit my first video in Adove Permier Pro but i've done more than half in about 30-40minutes so its a tough learning curve. Kinda like Photoshop, i never read any guiides or anything i just spent time mucking about on it and finding out what things do.

You don't have to put it in any folder, infact i have mine on my destop. You enter the numbers and then push SET, pushing DEFAULT puts it back to normal. You set it to what you want push set, leave it open and play the game. Works for me, are you sure the problem does not lie between the screen and the chair :unsure:

oh ffs, i am on aol, they stopped all this newsgroups stuff, i have to use internet explorer to use newsgroup webistes.

max i can get on bit torrent is 120kbps, cos i am only on 1mb broadband :( BT (phone company) and AOL are assholes, BT wont enable my line for 2mb or 4mb broadband and aol failed my line, but hopefully when uk online brings out 8mb broadband all get that for £40 a month, but in york near me (UK) they are testing 24mbps broadband, lol bet there is like 200mbps broadband in america :p

hey, how come on gta san andreas, when i go really fast in a car is it like going to bloody warp on startrek lol, everyhting seems to stretch slights, well, there is the object, then its like bieng stretched, i have graphics on very high, fram limiter off, 1024x768 reseloution, draw is at maximum, then increased by 10x using a mod, but when i had it at standar it still stretched, and why does everyhting look so choppy, to stop the choppyness do i have to have anti antaliasing on?, my computer cant handle it with anti antialiasing on, thats why i need an x850xt card

I have a problem with the hoodlum 3.9gb tar file as well. I downloaded it twice, both from IRC. Both of them are 3.9gb but only contain 32 files, not 80 or so. I can't even begin to extract the iso because it it says "crc failed on hlm-gtasa.iso" from the first archive.

Both were downloaded from difference irc bots on different channels in different servers. Is there anyway to know the right one to download? The file size is 3.9gb, but the 42 rars only tally up to 2.1gb.

I don't know why it does it, its not a heat issue, cuase no other game does it. Just when i play SA. I got teh latest drivers and everything. Anyone one else have this problem.

You use this program that can teleport you there. Its alright i suppose. A lot of the ground isn't solid so you have to shoot where you want to walk to make sure you won't fall through the ground.

I don't think you know how to use Google, i just did and checked the first 5 results and 3 had laods of mods and 1 other was a forum with threads and links to mods.

The "Hot Coffee" scenes were not intended to be part of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas experience. * Version Number displayed on game title screen

I still have that problem with the hoodlum version of the game:
