It's pretty stable afaik, although it's getting seriously outdated...
You might want to try to get at least windows 2000...unless it's not needed.

Either way, NT runs a lot like windows 2000, if you know how to use that then you will probly be fine with nt.

I install win 2000 pro on friends computers that aren't up to spec for xp . They seem quite happy with it.

Minimum Requirements
Computer/Processor 133 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU.
Memory At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM; more memory generally improves responsiveness.
Hard Disk 2 GB with 650 MB free space.
CPU Support Windows 2000 Professional supports single and dual CPU systems.
Drive CD-ROM or DVD drive.
Display VGA or higher resolution monitor.
Keyboard Required.

well the thing is, we dont have a license to put 2000 on them.......... and since were talking about 120 PC's that we're SELLING, we dont really wanna do things illegaly.......

the only problem is that we do have a license to put NT 4 on them, but we dont have the CD's to actually do it :(

been searching, but i cant find a reliable source to download it from anywhere :(

2000 is just like an XP without the eye candy. 2000 is based of NT. Ergo NT should be good. What does it matter, up untill now Nigeriaans have been using cardboard boxes and sand rats to compute.

Install NT and try it out. That's the best way to get to know it. Anyway it should work ok for general use but forget about running any games on it.

I hear the Nigerians like Counterstrike Source, and Battlefield 2.

as long as outlook express works well they will be able to send there pleas to take there small fortunes.

nt is no longer updated as far as i know and win 2000 is not going to be either for much longer.

have you tried contacting M$ for a copy - if you have the licence, then they should send you a disk....if not, then ask for a refund on the licence, since its useless, and then buy one for XP
