What Is USC 2257? It is the new law that states that every producer and secondary producer that puts out anything with "adult" content must have complete records on all their models that date back all the way to 1995! More than that, they have to be kept in a specific order, cross-indexed a specific way, and have very specific information. And deviation, even something as minor as a type-o in a models stage name can mean prison time! No body is happy

Fact: You can go to Federal Prison if your records aren't PERFECT!!!

Fact: If you even place one record out of order, you can go to prison for 5 years!

Fact: Don't have all your records properly cross-indexed? You could face prison time!

Fact: You can be searched whenever they want, and they don't even have to warn you!

Fact: Do you have every exact location for all of your files? If not, you're in trouble






(1) A primary producer is any person who actually films, videotapes, photographs, or creates a computer-generated image, digital image, or picture of, or digitizes an image of, a visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct.


(2) A secondary producer is any person who produces, assembles, manufactures, publishes, duplicates, reproduces, or reissues a book, magazine, periodical, film, videotape, a computer-generated image, digital image, or picture, or other matter intended for commercial distribution that contains a visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct, or who inserts on a computer site or service a digital image of, or otherwise manages the content of a computer site or service that contains a visual depiction of, actual sexually explicit conduct, including any person who enters into a contract, agreement, or conspiracy to do any of the foregoing.

This is the strongest attack on free speech since the passage of the CDA, and oddly, the media seems to have hardly noticed.
