okie dokie, got me a repair sitting on my desk, all put together...
no PSU (forgot that I gave my last ATX PSU away)
what I do have is an old 230W ATX-e PSU
good enoough to get a mobo/CPU/RAM test fired, but..
it has no 4 pin ATX (?) connector (the 4 pin square fkr)
can one of the other connectors be modded into the 4 pin mobo lead?
or is there some kind of circuitry in the PSU that will prevent this?
all it's doing is providing extra power to the mobo, right? :unsure:
it would be much simpler to splice a few wires and put a new connector on
than to have to drive back into town and buy a PSU :P
