View Full Version : The unthinkable has happened(Firefox fucked up)

I dont know what happpened, Firefox froze and when i tried to open it again it asked me to make a new profile, and now all my bookmarks are gone. I know its probally simple to fix but how do i gewt my bookmarks back??

When FF asks you to create a new profile it's usually because the default one is still in use. Check your task manager for a remaining firefox.exe process.

Ok ive closed all the firefox.exe(s)

There was another one in the background. But how do i swich back to my default profile?

Use the profile magager. Edit the FF shortcut and put " -p" at the end of the shortcut, then open it.

I see that alot lately, after an update to 1.0.4 .I have to close it as Guillaume, suggested. Useually after a error in playing a movie on line. :blink:
