hey

can someone PLEASE tell me how to seed files using bitcomet. i have a 2.2mbps dl/ 256kbps ul and am upgrading to 8mbps dl/ 1mbps ul. i have over 200gb of dvd iso's and stuff and i still have all the torrent files/tasks etc.

first I google with words "bitcomet faq"
you know, going for Frequently Asked Questions.

Usually all programs comes with manuals.

So I found this:

you have to check about the files that you are uploading (seeders/lecheers)
and try to upload 1 file because sometimes bitcomet didnīt upload very well when you have more than 2 files uploading.

I'd suggest either ABC (http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net) or Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net) or BitTornado (http://www.bittornado.com).

ABC and BitTornado are basic easy to use clients, especially BitTornado. Azureus has a lot of features and tweaks. Probably the most of all the bittorrent clients, but that also makes it the most complicated, especially for someone new to bittorrent which it sounds like you are. I'd suggest giving them all a look and decide which one you like.

leave the torrents open for seeding AFTER YOUR DONE for a better ratio.!


or try opening the torrents that are completed DL'ing to see if they will seed.
