HD DVD vs. Blu-ray

HD-DVD vs. Blu-ray is the battle everyone's talking about. No one knows for sure who's going to prevail, talks regarding the possible unification of formats have reached a standstill, and each side has its own supporters which are now gathering for the showdown.


Of cource I'm looking to buy a dvd -rw but now Iv got to decide between formats again ? :(

If you are looking at a DVD-RW drive, get one now. The NEC 3540A seems to be one of the best around.

If you want to wait until HD or BluRay is available you will end up paying a fortune. The fight will continue for some time yet.

Think about it. DVD DL media still cost a fortune due to lack of demand, how much do you think the new disk types will cost?
