Can someone tell me what it is? I tried google, but it talks about the computer system, not a network

it would be a part of the network that causes a slow down. example would be a 10mbps switch in a network of 100mbps routers. the traffic would have to slow down to get through that switch, which is 1/10 the speed of the other hardware.

i think that kinda differs per network....... altough there prolly are some things you could point out as most likely......... i cant do that for you since i dont know :P
