Should I get a Geforce7800GTX?

My rig right now consists of an AMD3400+ 64 bit, gig of DDR Ram and a Geforce 6800 Ultra, should I go for the 7800GTX or wait for a few months?

I would wait a few months, right now your rig can run anything out there anyway, so why upgrade? If you wait a few months and save im sure you could buy something better cause ati and nvidia will go at it for a while trying to out do each other.

well if you want braggin rights: of course you should!!! that 6800 Ultra is hopelessly outdated

if you just want a fast computer: WHY??? that 6800 ultra is faster than games need right now....... the 7800 wont notibly increase your graphics........ why pay 550 euro for something that really doesnt increase your performance?
