I just did a reformat and I tried to install japanese language support, but MSMINCHO.TT_ is corrupted. It's on the i386/Lang directory on the XP Pro install CD. Does anyone have one that I can have?

If that file is corrupt then I wonder how many other files are corrupt on your CD? Oh crap.

None of the others were corrupt for some reason. I've used the CD before to install windows XP and it always worked perfectly until today. I guess there was a scratch right over that file.

I also have the same problem, i.e, corrupted msmincho.tt_ file. I downloaded the file, but I don't know where to put it?
Is it in the folder:
C:\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\i386

If you're trying to install xp and it's saying that error then it goes on the cd in the i386 folder...
Maybe (just maybe) you can point to the file on your hard drive when it gives the error...if not then you need to reburn the cd with that file.
