It took 20 years to release Band Aid on DVD and that was only because pirates were selling it on Ebay so Bob though he might as well put a legal version out there.

Plus the British concert ran for just over 10 hours 20 minutes, wonder how many dvd's that is

I read somewhere that they are going to put it on the internet. you will pick what you want to be put on your own DVD.:) At a cost of course.

I have seen t'Who a couple of times, feckin' amazing. I queued overnight to get tickets, both times.

Roger Daltrey (born 1944) was cool as feck, he walked to the gigs and basically said "hi" to the fans, on the way in.

There was no mobage, just chaps crying "yo Roger, respect dude, see you on stage".

Which was nice.

I watched the whole thing. It was bloody marvellous.

The highlight of the whole day was the beautiful smile of the Ethopian girl who had just passed her college exams despite being no more than skin and bones 20 years ago. (Actually, I was completely choked :blushing: ) If that were to be the only achievement Bob ever had in his whole life it is still a 1000 times more than the tedious gainsayers will ever have to show for their miserable lives.

Pink Floyd were fantastic but I have to say that all the pieces were good. I particularly liked Snow Patrol, Annie Lennox, Madge, plus Coldplay doing Bittersweet Symphony with the Verve frontman was a joy.

Yep it never feels quite the same with substitutes....for me it was a reminder of why I have always liked them so much...hope they decide to do more.

A bit of me says no.

Let's not dilute the reason they did it.

It would be an awesome epitaph.

But I hear what you say.
