Just started watching this and it rawks. Saw the most recent five episodes last night and this series just grips you! Really looking forward to ep 11 as 10 was brilliant, so many twists.

What I don't much like is the review of last weeks episode at the start pratically gives away what is going to happen in this episode - highlighting certain conversations and alluding to plotlines. The same can be said of Lost to a certain extent - but maybe I don't like that because I'm watching the episodes straight after one another rather than waiting a week between them.

'Prison Break' producer Matthew Houbrick found dead in Chicago

The producer of Fox TV's hit series "Prison Break" was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his room at Chicago's Drake Hotel.

White powder, believed to be either heroin or cocaine, was found in the 6th floor room with Matthew Houbrick, 42, of Calabasas, Calif., Monday afternoon, sources told the Chicago Sun-Times.
A police source said a Hollywood producer had asked hotel staff to check on Houbrick after he had not been seen for a while. It was unknown how long he had been dead.
Houbrick was in Chicago for the filming of "Prison Break," which is shot in the nearby Joliet Correctional Center.
He worked as supervising producer on the WB's "Charmed" as well as "7th Heaven," "The Love Boat: The Next Wave" and "Pacific Palisades."

Fox has finally announced when Prison Break will return to the schedule following its fall finale (http://www.tvguide.com/News/Entertainment/default.htm?cmsRedir=true&rmDate=10282005&cmsGuid=%7B85241D6B-28AA-421D-8296-49CD86A9D69C%7D&cmsSrch=true) on Nov. 28 — and it blows. The network has reportedly decided to hold the show's nine remaining episodes until (gulp) May! Fox scheduling chief Preston Beckman tells USA Today that "the appeal of creatively bringing it back later in the year outweighs the disruption it would cause" to try to bring it back sooner. I wonder what kind of disruption a few million phone calls of protest would cause over at Fox's Culver City headquarters? You with me, guys? Oh, this just in: A Fox rep insists "no decision has been made" about PB's return date. Do we have power or what?!?!?
There are a number of reasons why they want to push the show back.

1. Only 13 episodes were originally ordered.

2. The 9 extra episodes were ordered late September.

3. It would be in a scheduling conflict with 24 if aired in it's entirety; it looks like by a mere 4 or so episodes.

I still wonder how they'll do it with 24 on.

24 starts Jan 15 & 16 but will knock out 4 hours in those 2 days. If it comes on Monday with no breaks then just 10 more episodes will be covered through March leaving 10 ten episodes. They may as well had ran Prison Break and 24 back to back.

The Fugitive part sure doesn't start yet. A janitor fucks everything up by resealing the pipe from the infirmary.

I hate parts in shows like this. All that Secret Service guy had to do was give the lady the letter...then die but nooooooooooo. He has to keep the letter so he'll die with it.

Nice going.:dry: There's no way that the guy would be that dumb, for one thing - and for another, once he's disappeared and the lawyer reveals their dastardly deeds in court, the Secret Service would make sure he was killed in case he leaks info on other cases he's worked on in the past.

Course, they won't go after him if they think he's already dead :1eye:

Mmk. Those 2 are the stars. I don't know people would think either of them would die. The trick of this whole show is Michael getting himself AND his brother out.
