I have this picture,
http://img289.imageshack.us/img289/5378/corner1hp.png (http://www.imageshack.us),
and I need it to be like brown or orange color, to use on an
invitation card Im working on.
A long time ago, when I was learning Corel, I remember that the teacher
told us how to do it, he used a clipart, he separated it into little pieces and even was
able to change the color of every single one of these pieces,
I believe it had something to do with vector images, but I can't remember exactly,
anyway, can someone help me on this?

Adobe Photoshop CS

Its cool to learn how to use it, cause once you do you can do some neat stuff with it.

Yes, you can do this in Photoshop or Fireworks.
I can give it a shot for you.
Might be even better if you can tell me what color to use.

Even Microsoft Paint:

Normally you could just play with the 'hue/saturation' in PS except this this time b/c the pict is black. Just use the 'replace color' option with the color you want.

Yes guys, you where all right.
But, virtualbody, I wonder hoy do you do that
using Ms Paint?

Re-tracing what I had learned, I rememberd that we had used 'Corel Trace',
at first I didn't seemed to get it, but after some tunning and adjustments I was
satisfied with the results, I managed to make it a vector image (I think, lol.),
so I could change the line color, or fill color, or even un-group it,
ooh, and make it as big as I want too.

and so far, here is what Im doing, or at leats trying to do with it.

I zoomed in with the magnifier at 8X and replaced the colors manually. A bit time consuming but it works.
