Hi, I am new to this forum and would really appreciate some help with my newly purchased iPod Shuffle 1 gig. I have noticed since I opened the shuffle and put all my songs on it that whenver I go to play it in playlist order, it will skip random songs. I was listening to an album that had originally 20 songs when I put it on the ipod. The shuffle only played 13 of the 20, skipping random songs and just not playing them at all. I would really like to know why my ipod is skipping these songs in playlist mode and i would like to know how to solve this annoying problem. Thanks guys, much appreciated. Btw, I use Itunes to transfer my music to my ipod.

Thats the only thing I can think of that would do that.

poorly encoded mp3's that dont have their header tags written properly can cause problems with mp3's appearing to be blank or not there at all in some players which may mean all that's being transferred is empty mp3's therefore there is nothing on it to play

oh and by poorly encoded i'm not talking 128 vs 192 etc.. i mean xing (yeeech) vs L.A.M.E (w00t)
