Splinter Cell

Ok this is whack, and I dont understand whats wrong with this. I downloaded the fairlight version of Splinter Cell, everything is fine, I copy over the crack from the 3rd cd to replace the old one and it still says insert the correct cd. Anyone else had this problem or can help me?

Right I tried the minimum installation and it works....right thats werid. Anyhow, I cant even move in the game. Theres nothing wrong with my keyboard or anything, i can press esc to go to the menu in game, and all the keys are congifured properly.....but i cant move. Somethings very strange here. any ideas?
