View Full Version : Minidump error
How do i fix it?
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini071505-04.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Home\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BF816337 BCP3 : EC5AF798
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1
BCP1 : C0000005That means "access violation". The way to fix it is to get code which isn't trying to access parts of your system which it isn't allowed to access, or make sure that it has access. If you don't know what this software is or does, stop running it.
If you do know what it is, then you probably need to be administrator in order for it to run properly. Its documentation should have told you this. You must have missed that part when you read it.
i dont know what it is, just started a few days ago been getting it everytime i load the computer should i run a hijack this so you can see what im running? or do you want the .xml file that it generated?
Sounds like a failed virus to me.
That being the case, it isn't a hardware problem so I'll move this to "software" where it will probably get better attention.

Examine the System and Application logs in Event Viewer, for recent errors
that might give further clues. Type EventVwr.msc from a run box.
Did you recently install any new hardware? Try removing it,and testing it on another machine.
Try updating drivers and a bios. (or try rolling back back the drivers...if you
recently updated drivers, and the problems started.)
Peace bd
might be the virus, i recently got a virus and my computer picked it up, i think it was through some webshot community site, lemme look at my log
aidintime.com, i was going thro webshot when a virus from this site hit me, my NOD32 log saids
name - threat-action
http://aidintime.com/mashka/sia - multiple inflitrations - connection terminated
http://aidintime.com/mashka/sia >CHM >/index.htm VBS/TrojanDownloer.Psyme.NAL trojan- theres no action but they are written in red
http://aidintime.com/mashka/sia>CHM>/index.exe Win32/TrojanDropper.Delf.EV trojan - again no action but written in red
oo it might not be that, im looking at the log and i remember getting alot of the /!\ on the system tray, i saw it on my moms computer too it said something about the same IP on the network?

A valid point. It's really difficult to decipher stop errors. Take my advice
and do a little detective work...and as always go through the basics of troubleshooting first.

seems to me like my router looking at taht event manager it seems to be something w/ my moms computer and mine on a network
The browser was unable to retrieve a list of domains from the browser master \\HOLLY on the network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{03B9D5F8-3651-42E8-B6F9-0B00BE9E6A82}. The data is the error code.
