The latest beta refresh, build 1.0.615, addresses issues pertaining to how Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) provides information to the user about processes running on a PC, solves an issue regarding the delivery of new anti-spyware signatures for some customers and provides new signature updates to help protect against recently identified spyware.

Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) is a security technology that helps protect Windows users from spyware and other potentially unwanted software. Known spyware on your PC can be detected and removed. This helps reduce negative effects caused by spyware including slow PC performance, annoying pop-up ads, unwanted changes to Internet settings, and unauthorized use of your private information. Continuous protection improves Internet browsing safety by guarding over fifty (50) ways spyware can enter your PC.

For me it does matter a little.

If they let crap like Claria through, what other Crap there is what they let through through also?
And based on what information, where?

I noticed the deal between Claria and M$ went titsup but
I think there still some shady areas regarding what M$ regards as Crapware.
Hard to find a page that has the info.
In fact, I dont think there's set-to-stone rules regarding crapware overall/anywhere but
I doubt M$ is the one that really knows/cares, its a bisnes anyways.
There's a lot of money involved crapware.

I dont have the M$ Antispy installed, nor I will install it.
Im doing OK with the current AntiCrap stuff I got installed.

In my opinion, Claria should be removed automatically, it should not be "an option".
Its crapware.
