I tried using wap to put ringtones in my phone but once it's downloaded and I play it nothing happens I just get static I tried the ringtone on my comp and it works fine. My phone is a Sprint Picture Phone PM-225

You downloaded a ringtone in a format that your phone doesn't play. Get another.

Download a program called "Ringtone Converter"..than you can make your own or use there Database...you can even Google Codes & import them into the program to convert them to your phone.
