I can't stand Billy Bob Thornton. I don't know why. I think this movies gonna trash. IT's another fluke remake, from the 1976 edition with Walter Matthau (Mr. Wilson in Dennis the Menace). What are your thoughts?

I haven’t seen him re invent the wheel or anything so maybe brilliant is a bit much.

I think that they have officially run out of ideas on how to make new movies. There are way to many remakes of old TV shows that weren’t any good to begin with.

Are there any new movies coming out? Only thing that hasnt been done before are based on comics, and thats getting old too. Although I have to agree with Braniac - bad santa was a fantastic movie, it was made for billy bob thornton and hes going to play a similar role in BNB.

i don't think this movie's gonna do well. seriously. ok, for one, it's PG-13... but the entire plot is for like 8-12 year olds. now two, how many american parents are going to take their 9 year old to see a PG-13 movie?? exactly. i hate billy bob. he's kinda raunchy. this remake is going to be as bad as the dukes of hazzard one. pity. what a shame lol

I have to agree he was great in Bad Santa but seems to me that the character he plays in this attemps to rehash that through most of this. Wasnt impressed with this at all. It has a few laughs but struggles to fill in the seventy plus minutes it runs...

It's a lightweight version of Bad Santa. Which isn't a bad thing, but it'll just make you want to watch the real thing.

I watched Bad News Bears last night, laughed most of the way thro' it ... and then watched Bad Santa for the fortyleventh time.

QFT, Billy Bob does a great job as this sort of character.
