Hello,
I have got StyleXP and i use a custom bootscreen but everytime pc starts up it asks which OS i wanna use Windows XP Home Editiot (bootscreen) or WIndows XP home edition i also use a USB keyboard so cannot use it while start up is going it gives me 30 secs to select 1 i dont want this option i just want it to strt up with a custom bootscreen is there anyway of stopping it asking me.
EDIT: I found how to change it i did not realise StyleXP had the option to change the timout for OS select thanks anyway :)
I love to see people fixing problems on their own instead of being lazy and letting everyone else do the work. :)

boot.ini (hidden file usually in C: )
[boot loader]
timeout=3
One can also "fix stuff" with msconfig

With the possible exception of laptops, one sees an XP bootscreen so infrequently, that IMO, it hardly seems worth the bother of customizing it.
