Network problem in XP

I turned on file sharing on my main computer so the second computer can access this computer's files but it doesn't work, does anyone know why I can't share the files?

I've just formatted my second computer and now even my main computer can't access the other computer. Please, does anyone have any solutions?

Make sure both computer are on teh same workgroup. And that no firewalls will be blocking them from eachother (turn off for testing).
Make sure a drive or folder is shared as well.

If it doesn't work try running the netork setup wizard on each computer.

Yeah, I did that. I went to view workgroup computers and try to access but doesn't work. it says I don't have permission. both of these XPs are fresh installs. when I try to enable permission for my second computer, it doesn't show up on the list on add.
