I found 4 baby Possums in my guarage hidden behind some boxes I was wandering if it was possible to raise one. Only thing im worried about raising one is it biting people or something or chewing my neck off while im sleeping.

Yeah, good idea.

I've raised six fox/hyena hybrids in my shed. They're great. Kids love 'em.

Simple - if he stick's his arm in a human's mouth no other animal will be able to get near. :shifty:

Yeah, no problem raising a possum, you could just make it some stilts out of lollipop sticks maybe...

or winch it up to just below the ceiling...

(P.S. What are you doing with the other 3, or shouldn't I ask... )

I hear you can't really tame wolves, either.

But I suppose you might be able to teach them a trick or two

I definitely know that you can't train stick insects, 'cos I've tried.

Well it depends on what you try and get them to do.

Fetch you the newspaper? No.

Look like a stick? Yes.

You can probably train them to be fetched by a dog though, huh?

Don't think that's a good idea. For some reason our dogs really enjoy eating the occasional bug.

I've seen one of them eat flies, she just grabs them out of the air. 'tis fascinating.

Well im going to take care of one and my brothers are going to handle the others I found that they are completely harmless. The one I picked likes to crap all over the place but it's to damn cute to resist. It likes to go in my pepsi box so I put napkins all in it and put food in a small shot glass and water in the other. :)

No you don't train them to play dead lol thats just one of their defence mechanisms they already know how to do that only if you scare them enough which I won't do

Hey found this interesting :

Opossums have one characteristic that makes them more like a human being than nearly any other animal: opposable thumbs. Their hind feet very much resemble small human hands and are equipped with thumbs that are great aids in climbing ... and in holding writing implements which they use for writing verse.

Thanks Google :D

It's pretty cool that they are marsupials, we don't have any of those here I think.
